1. sophisticated  (adj.) 

having a good understanding of the way people behave and/or a good knowledge of culture and fashion 老練的、見多識廣的、有品味的

ex: Last week I lost in the street and asked a woman for help who is sophisticated.

2. coherent  (adj.) 

if an argument, set of ideas, or plan is coherent, it is clear and carefully considered, and each part of it connects or follows in a natural or reasonable way 有條理的、連貫的

if someone is coherent, you can understand what that person says. 講話有條理的

ex: After the teacher teaches the student about writing skills, his essay is more coherent.

3. authoritative  (adj.)

showing that you are confident, in control, and expect to be respected and obeyed 獨斷的

containing complete and accurate information, and therefore respected 權威的、可靠的

ex: Her authoritative tone commanded respect and attention from everyone in the room.

4. provoke (v.)

to cause a reaction, especially a negative one  激起、引起(指負面)

ex: His rude comment was meant to provoke a reaction.

5. sentient  (adj.) able to experience feelings 有感覺力的

ex: The cat is a sentient being, capable of experiencing both joy and fear.
